Spiral Ramp

You can find a special building that has extraordinary structure in the Democratic movement memorial center.
That is a place called ‘Snail Path(spiral ramp)’.
The memorial building is designed in the shape of a round fortress with and a symbolic sculpture installed in the center of the building, making the main passage in the direction of ‘Scene of Hope(Observatory)’ from the 1st basement to the 4th floor in the shape of a trisectrix. The building is entirely wheelchair accessible.

There are some outstanding events that are held in the round lamp.
One example is children’s painting and book exhibitions.
Children may climb onto the ‘Scene of Hope(Observatory)’, passing ‘Pyulchuboim Hall’, while watching the masterpiece with their friends along with a lamp, hand-in-hand with their parents.
Looking downward from some places on the lamp, you can see the yard where various sculptures are located and the ‘Democracy Flame’ is standing tall through the blue sky and upward.
